I have over 13 years experience working with children and their families. I have worked in a variety of educational settings and now run private practices in London and the surrounding counties for children aged 3-13 years. I am passionate about what I do and feel that early interventions in a child’s life can have a huge and long lasting impact. Relationships are core to the success of therapeutic interventions. I pride myself on creating an open, nurturing and non judgemental environment where both children and their parents feel safe to express themselves.
I initially completed a masters at Edinburgh University. After working with children for over 10 years I then completed my second masters in child therapy. My training was based in Rogerian child centred therapy however I use an integrated approach to produce the most effective therapeutic work for each individual.
Whilst completing my masters I became interested in interpersonal neurology and how this underpins our emotional reactions and relational interactions. I continue to incorporate the latest in evidence based psychology into my work.
In order to maintain a high standard of work and ethical practice I invest in regular training and monthly clinical supervision.
